What is MOGA/FRO?

The convention takes place yearly. This year it is taking place from the 4th -7th August in the beautiful Cairns, Queensland. The theme of the conference this year is ‘leave your tie at home’!

The Medical Oncology Group of Australia (MOGA) promotes the advancement of knowledge and the practice of medicine in the medical oncology field. It promotes and maintains the highest standards of medical oncology practice and ethics throughout the community, research relevant to clinical practice and medical oncology. MOGA also represents its members in medical matters relevant to medical oncology practice, cooperates with and advises medical or other bodies interested in medical oncology practice and the management of neoplastic disease. They also promote and facilitate the distribution of information relevant to medical oncology practice throughout the community.FRO is faculty of radiation oncology which is the academic and training body for consultants who specialize in radiation oncology therapy. the royal Australasian college of oncologists).
