Parents needed for survey on family health services
The Child Health: Researching Universal Services (CHoRUS) team is looking for parents with children aged 0-5 years to participate in an online survey to share their experiences and thoughts about current child and family health services. The findings of the study will help professionals and families who use child and family health services to come together to improve services.
The study aims to investigate the feasibility of implementing a national approach to child and family health services in Australia. In particular, the study will seek the perspective of those directly involved in service provision (that is, child and family health nurses, general practitioners, practice nurses and midwives) and be informed by perspectives and experiences of key stakeholders (such as pediatricians, allied health professionals) and consumers.
There are three phases in the study which will involve consultations with professional and consumer groups surveys of child and family health nurses, midwives and general practitioners and then in Phase three, focus groups with health professionals in each of the five jurisdictions.
