Coffee helps keep colon cancer away in women

In Japan Researchers claim they have found that drinking a cup of coffee each day halves the risk of colon cancer in women.

The research team at Gifu University in central Japan says coffee is good for the large intestine, but they are not sure why.Since 1992 researchers have been tracking the diet of more than 30,000 Gifu residents.According to media reports on the findings, other cancer researchers believe more comprehensive studies are required before it will be possible to conclude that coffee lowers the risk of colon cancer.(Source: ABC online)
