Exercise lowers risk of breast cancer
Women who exercise on a regular basis are up to 30% less likely to contract post-menopausal breast cancer, according to the National Cancer Institute.
High levels of oestrogen are believed to be a key contributor to the development of breast cancer and women who exercise regularly have comparatively lower levels of oestrogen in their body.
The level or intensity of exercise required to lower the levels of oestrogen is still unknown, however, a little exercise is always better than none.
Moderate exercise of around 30 minutes two to three times a week has got to be improving your odds.
