Transcript

Hello, I’m Stephen Ackland. I’m a staff specialist in Medical Oncology at the Newcastle Mater Hospital, and a conjoint Professor in the Faculty of Health at the University of Newcastle. I’m also currently Director of Clinical Cancer Research for the Hunter–New England Area Health Service, which is a new position sponsored by the Cancer Institute NSW. I joined the Editorial Advisory Board of the Virtual Cancer Centre 3-4 years ago.

The Virtual Cancer Centre is a reliable, credible and up to date resource for oncologists, about the latest developments and research results for patients and health professionals alike. The information on the site has been sanctioned by a wide variety of experts on the advisory panel and its sub committees. It’s a unique Australian resource and compliments the information available on the Cancer Council and COSA websites. Thank you for watching, and have a good day.
