Eligibility & Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:- You must have type 1 or type 2 diabetes. – You must be at least 18 years old male or female- You must have been diagnosed with mild diabetic eye disease. – You must have good vision. – You must be able to return to all follow-up visits. Exclusion Criteria:- You have had surgery or laser treatment on your eyes, you currently have bleeding in your eyes, or you have certain eye conditions such as glaucoma. – You have other medical problems which your doctor feels would make it unsafe for you to participate in this study such as liver or kidney problems. – You cannot have adequate eye photographs taken. – You currently have uncontrolled high blood pressure or blood sugar. – You are a woman of childbearing age and unwilling or unable to use effective contraception.
