Renal Society of Australasia National Conference

From the 15th to the 18th of August, the Renal Society of Australasia is holding its 35th annual conference at the Burswood Entertainment Complex in Perth, Western Australia.

Invited speakers are Professor W Kirt Nichols, Chief of the Division of Vascular Surger and Vice-Chair of the Department of Surgery of University of Missouri Hospital; Professor Peter Kerr, Director of Nephrology at Monash Medical Centre, Victoria; Dr Chris Jones, Consultant Nephrology Nurse for King’s College Hospital, London; Adjunt Associate Professor Di Twigg, Director of Nursing for Sir Charles Gairdner Group; Ms Sue Davis, Nurse Director, Corporate Nursing, Research and Education at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Western Australia; and Ms Jean Hooper, one of the first psychologists to be appointed by a Renal Service in the United Kingdom.Pre-conference workshops discuss promoting self-management, workforce retention, pre-end stage renal care and writing for publication.
