Australia’s Cancer Doctors Meet at Barossa Valley

Representatives from the nations top cancer centres met in the Barossa Valley this week.

The Novotel Resort in the Barossa Valley was the venue for this years Medical Oncology Group and RANZCR Faculty of Radiation Oncology meeting – the national association of cancer specialists, which incorporates Medical and Radiation Oncology Specialists.

The highlights of the second day were a very interesting session on new cancer treatments – hot topics included new targeted therapies for lung cancer and breast cancer, to name a few.

There was a very full discussion on prostate cancer and its treatment.
