Indication

Amohexal is an antibiotic that treats specific bacterial infections. These include some lung infections (eg. pneumonia), urinary tract infections and skin infections.

Action

Amoxycillin fights bacteria by attacking their ability to build new cell walls.

Dose advice

Prescription is required
May be taken with or without food. Ã? Adults – 250-500 mg every 8 hours
Comes as syrup and capsules (250mg and 500mg tablets)
Always notify the appropriate medical personnel of previous allergies to penicillins or antibiotics

Rare -nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, yeast or thrush infections. Allergic rashes
