Product Name: Amohexal


Amohexal is an antibiotic that treats specific bacterial infections. These include some lung infections (eg. pneumonia), urinary tract infections and skin infections.


Amoxycillin fights bacteria by attacking their ability to build new cell walls.

Dose advice

Prescription is required
May be taken with or without food. Ã? Adults – 250-500 mg every 8 hours
Comes as syrup and capsules (250mg and 500mg tablets)
Always notify the appropriate medical personnel of previous allergies to penicillins or antibiotics



Common side effects

Rare -nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, yeast or thrush infections. Allergic rashes

Uncommon side effects

Possible allergic reactions such as skin rashes, difficulty in breathing, fever, hives, swollen face, lips and tongue â??seek medical advice.
