Used for maintenance treatment of asthma in patients receiving inhaled or oral corticosteroids. Maintenance treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Relax bronchial smooth muscle by stimulating beta 2 adrenoreceptors, thus increasing airway diameterOnset of action 1 to 3 minutesLong duration of action (>12hours)
